Bodies of Work

2011 - Present

Epekto Art Projects: A Filipinx art collective that I started in 2011. We’ve shown throughout San Francisco and Oakland and more recently in Hawaii. We strive to cultivate a community for Filipinx artists, supporting each other’s development through exhibiting, resources, and forming connections. We’ve also hosted panel talks and live mural projects as a way to connect with our community.

2009 - Present

The New Hall: a volunteer run organization I founded that offers free interactive art related workshops that encourages community building and inclusivity. We’ve partnered with multiple local businesses and organizations throughout the East Bay.

2001-Present

Flag Project: These images are a visual exploration of one of the most sacred iconic images in the United States, our flag.  It discusses the various ways the American Flag is presented throughout American Culture. It is an investigation into the idea of patriotism, whom it includes and excludes.
